- If I had to pick one, I'd probably say L.M. Montgomery, since she's been with me the longest, but I'd take T.S. Eliot's Four Quartets with me to a desert island.
- About Me:
- I read while I brush my teeth. I like to knit while I'm watching "Antiques Roadshow" on PBS (or, better yet, watching old episodes of "Jeeves and Wooster" or "All Creatures Great and Small" on DVD). I had never heard the song "Stairway to Heaven" all the way through until two days ago. I listen to sermons and NPR shows on my ipod. I am almost addicted to books on tape/CD and can often be caught listening to two or three at the same time. I was taught growing up that learning happened through discussion and that disagreement was nothing to be afraid of. I still believe this.

You knit! I've recently gotten into knitting, too, although since Christmas I haven't done as much. I knitted so many scarves for Christmas that my poor fingers needed a break!
I don't read while brushing my teeth but I do while at red lights.
As far as Anna Karenina--I've had that on the shelf for a year beckoning me. Working up the guts to jump in.
